About Dad's Doors

Dad's Doors came into being after a conversation with my daughter. It was whilst working for a larger company that had me travelling up and down the country. A typical week would have me in the van early on a Monday morning and bedding in hotels until my return home again on a Friday. It was a horrid existence and one that continually had me questioning the ethics of the company I was working with.

I saw myself used as a money maker for a  company that didn't show real care for its clients.  I saw highly marked up pricing that helped to cover a number of staffing wages without actually providing anything that I couldn't .

I grew up in a time when people knew their neighbours, when tradesmen were tradesmen and people got what they were paying for.  Today it seem more and more companies are deliberatly delivering less than people are paying for and that really gripes me.
